APDR Mizuno Skills League

Welcome to the APDR Mizuno Skills League.

What is the APDR Mizuno Skills League? Well its simply a golf competition being run by the Albert Park Driving Range, designed to test your ability in the different skills of golf which are driving, irons, chipping and putting.

How it works:

We are running both pairs and individual events across the 6 week series, each participant will compete over 5 separate skill areas in:

  • Chipping
  • Short putting
  • Long putting
  • 100m shot
  • Long/straight drive

You will hit 6 shots at each skill area and provided you are within required distance you will receive a point for each successful attempt. During the 100 meter and driver skills, your handicap will determine how close to the target you are required to hit it. For the chipping and putting skills your starting position will also be based off your handicap.

Once you complete the 5 skill areas you simply confirm your score and return to the registration desk on the night for a score check.

The competition runs for 6-weeks and starts Wednesday January 30th. Tee off between 5pm and 7.30pm, come down when it suits you.

Entry fee for each player is $50 and you will receive an entry gift which is a Mizuno hat and a sleeve of 3 Mizuno JPX golf balls.

  • You are not required to compete in every round, however your 3 best total scores will be counted and in order to win you will need to play as often as possible
