2021 PGA National Coach of the Year - Game Development

Jamie has been involved in the golf industry for over 20 years. He had a very successful amateur career representing Victoria as state team captain and was an Australian team member. Jamie was runner up in the 1994 Australian Amateur Championship. He was awarded a VIS scholarship five times and has been taught by some of the best golf instructors in Australia.

Jamie has been a member of the PGA since 1996 and was an Australian Tour player from 1996 to 2001. After retirement as a Tour Professional, Jamie completed a Golf Traineeship and in 2004 was named the Victorian and Australian Trainee of the Year.

Jamie enjoys the challenge of assisting a complete beginner to develop into a competitive player or working on key skill sets required to pursue a professional golfing career. He offers a wide range of specialised coaching services such as beginner, advanced and school holiday clinics, individual lessons with comprehensive video analysis, junior lessons, private group lessons, social and corporate events. As a Mizuno Brand Ambassador Jamie is also very passionate about ensuring each of his clients has the right equipment to match their game and offers club fitting and advice.

Jamie will develop a plan specifically suited to each client which is designed to boost confidence and reduce frustration. He teaches each client by working on one or two simple mechanical or mental processes at a time delivered through easy to understand instructions.
